Moving out
Hi darlings,

I will be moving out (it's about time, for Elkobim's sake) at the 15th of this month. I've found a small one-room appartment in Hadar Yosef, Tel Aviv, for the price of 380$/month, which is pretty cheap for an appartment in the center.

I hope it'd help me in the romantic field.

Now I have to choose which landline phone company should I use: Bezeq or Hot?

Hello, darling,

No opinion on the phone company (no first-hand experience, alas), but the new digs sound fairly good. Only one room? Like what we'd call a "bachelor" apartment?

In any case, please e-mail me your new phone number when you have it. :)

Hi dear!

Hot is the cable company, while Bezeq used to be the phone landline monopoly. Right now, Hot seems to be much more annoying than Bezeq.

I don't know what's "bachelor" apartment, though. It is pretty much small - I think it's about the size of your computer room in the apartment you used to have when I visited you (not including the storage rooms). I hope to get enough money so I could move to a bigger place.

And sure thing, you'll get my phone number, whether it gets the 03 prefix (Bezeq/Tel Aviv) or the 077 prefix (HOT).

A "bachelor" apartment is what we'd call an apartment with no separate bedroom or kitchen, where the main part of the apartment is just one big room. There is usually a separate bathroom and maybe a small storage room, though, although Canadian bachelor apartments don't often have storage rooms.

Maybe this time I can get the phone thingy to work. I think the last time I forgot to dial 011 in front of the country code. Silly me.
